An independent Art Gallery situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town. Dedicated to showcasing Samantha and Martin Osner's personal limited edition prints and exhibited collections.
The gallery is dedicated to showcasing a permanent exhibition of a father and daughter art photography collaborative.
Situated in the scenic town of Hout Bay, just a short drive from the centre of Cape Town central, the gallery is located on the slopes of the twelfth apostle overlooking the mountains and the bay itself. This is a serene place where time stands still for just a little while allowing art can be enjoyed.
This creative space has been designed as a destination gallery, away from the hustle and bustle. Viewing is by appointment as Martin and Samantha insist on personally meeting visitors.

We consider photography as a reality driven medium which unlocks doors into the depths of art. We see the camera as an instrument within a broader creative process. In our work, we strive to convey emotion and design rather than replication and illustration. With its power to transform a subject in a split second, light for us is the magical ingredient. As father and daughter, we are truly blessed to be able to share a creative world together. Our gallery is a sanctuary, a place where we can display our passion on a wall and enjoy sharing our love for art and photography with others.

The Osner Family have opened a bright, modern beautiful gallery on their property overlooking the Valley of Hout Bay and the sea beyond. Martin Osner, a well-known and highly respected photographer exhibit works from his own magnificent photographic collections and in this space has created a nurturing launching-pad for the rise of the photographic career of his daughter, Samantha-Lee. Her initial whimsical work is exhibited adjacent to her striking new collections, and in the shadow of, but not overshadowed by her father's art. Other pieces by South African artists, in various media - sculptures in bronze and ceramic, as well as metalwork are also included in the gallery and placed to complement the gallery space, the photographic art and lead you out onto a spacious balcony overlooking the entire Hout Bay Valley. The Osner Gallery is a jewel in the crown of Hout Bay and an asset to the art circles of Cape Town. Well worth a visit.
